梅子（うめこ）で台湾料理：Taiwan food at Méizǐ Cāntīng

ビューティー・ホテルズ・シュアンメイ・ブティックから徒歩７分。ガイドブックにも良く出ている梅子レストランに行って来ました。

料理はお高めだけど、店内きれいでメニューが写真付きで、スタッフも日本人の扱いに慣れているので、安心して食事が出来ます。味はまあまあかな。

You can arrive at Umeko Restaurant (Méizǐ Cāntīng) in 7 minutes walking from Beauty Hotels Hsuanmei Boutique（宣美精品飯店）. This restaurant is famous among Japanese travelers.

The price is not so cheap. The taste is so so. But the food menu shows pictures, and the restaurant is clean. Staffs are professional.

台北の胃に優しいイカスープの店〜六條通魷魚羹 - Healthy skid soup - Liutiao tong, Youyugeng

ビューティー・ホテルズ・ロウメイ・ブティックから徒歩４分、四平街陽光商圏にある中華料理の店です。中華料理といっても、イカ団子等のシーフードをとろみのお汁と麺で食べるといった屋台系料理で、本店は中山にあります。

味付けがあっさりしていて、おまけに一品がとてもリーズナブル。けっこう遅くまで営業しているので、飲んだ帰りに食べると良さそうです。

この四平街周辺は、地元っぽいお店が多く、のんびりした雰囲気なのも良かったです。

The head shop is located in Zhongshan Town. This branch stands in Sìpíng Street. It takes 4 minutes' walking from Beauty Hotels Roumei Boutique. Main menu is a seafood soup like skid dumpling. The taste is very light. And the price is very cheap. When you feel hungry after drinking, a thick noodle soup will be good. This restaurant is open until midnight.

Sìpíng Street has many local restaurants. We want to visit again to feel the local time.

"Guo Mama" at Lishui Street - 麗水街の中華レストラン「郭媽媽」

Before visiting Dandy Hotel Daan Park Branch (丹迪旅店大安森林公園店), Kanna and I visited Lishui Street (麗水街). Lishui Street is running parallel to Yongkang Street (永康街), famous for shopping and dining in Taipei city.

When we walked on the street hungrily, we found the Chinese character sign board, "家味郭媽媽便當美食". "美食" means "delicious food". Guo Mama (郭媽媽) is not listed on our travel guidebook, but when we looked into the restaurant, many local people were eating. So we decided to have a lunch here.

Restaurant staffs cannot speak English, but they gave us English menu, so we ordered fried rice, fried crispy chicken, dumplings, some Chinese vegetables and so on. Every food is delicious and staffs are very kind to us. The price is very cheap, less than USD10 for all.

Many restaurants in Yongkang Street are busy in lunchtime, so it's better that you can go to different street or places, if you want to enjoy foods in a quiet restaurant.

ダンディー・ホテル大安森林公園店に行く前に、カンナとマーニは昼食を食べに麗水街を訪れました。麗水街はおしゃれな雑貨やレストランのある永康街と平行に走る道路です。

麗水街をたらたら歩いていると「家味郭媽媽便當美食」という看板の店を発見。読めないけど、なんとなくレストランであることは間違いない。しかも「美食」と書いてあるし（笑）。ガイドブックに掲載されてない店だったけど、店内をのぞくと地元のお客さんでいっぱいだったので、入ってみることにしました。

店員さんは英語が話せないけど、日本語メニューがあったので炒飯、鶏の唐揚げ、野菜、水餃子などを注文。どれも美味しく、二人で食べきれないほど。料金も全部で1000円しなくて、とても満足でした。

永康街のレストランは、食事時はどこも混んでいるので、別な通りや、少し離れた場所を探したほうが、ゆっくり食事を楽しむことができます。

There are many cafes in Taipei.
Especially N.Y. Bagels Cafe is recommended.

N.Y. Bagels Cafe is the first shop introducing the bagel to Taipei.
The cafe serves bagels, salad, steak and so on.
Tea selection is various according to Taiwan culture.

I ordered a chocolate cake. It's melting.
Coffee in the mug was nice.

English speaking staff and menu are available.

台北発のベーグルの専門店としてスタートしたカフェで、
店内では、ベーグルをはじ、サンドイッチ、サラダ、ステーキ等の
食事も頂けます。台湾らしくお茶のメニューも充実しています。

チョコレートケーキを食べたのですが、とろけるようで、
オリジナルマグカップに入ったコーヒーも美味しかったです。

英語メニュー、英語が話せるスタッフもいます。
