Singapore MRT subway is convenient for travelers. But sometimes we want to go to the place far from the MRT stations. In that case, bus is better.
To reduce traffic jam, the taxi charge goes up during the peak time like morning and evening. But the bus fee is not changed. When you go to plat form of MRT station's, you need to go up and down, but you just get on the bus from the ground with a few steps. The distance between MRT stations is far, but each bus stop is close, and so you don't need to walk far. The timetable is every 10 -15 minutes, so you don't need to wait for the bus for a long time. Subway transport has no view, but you can enjoy the outside view from the bus seat.

シンガポールの地下鉄は、主要エリアを網羅する便利な乗り物ですが、駅から離れた場所で訪れたい所があることがあります。そんなときに便利なのが市バスです。
渋滞緩和のため、シンガポールでは朝夕の混む時間帯にタクシーは基本料金が上がるのですが、バスはそんなことありません。地下鉄はプラットフォームまでいったん地下にもぐってまた上がってという風に時間がかかりますが、バスは道路からひょいっと乗ることが出来ます。地下鉄は駅と駅の間隔が長いですが、バスのバス停は間隔が狭いので、地下鉄のようにえんえん駅まで歩く必要もありません。シンガポールのバスはだいたいが５〜15分おきなので、何時間も待つ必要もありません。何より外の景色を見ながら移動できるのは地下鉄にはない楽しみです。
