I, Mani, went to Khaolak Laguna Resort by motorbike. When I left my hotel in Kata beach in early morning, and visit Phuket Town for breakfast.
Just before arriving at the hotel, I hade a coffee at “Muanlai Restaurant”, Ethern food (11:00 am– 11:00 pm, tel: 076-485-225). The view is very panoramic and beautiful.
During the stay at Khaolak Laguna Resort, I visited Sai Rung Waterfall (Pak Weep Waterfall). It took 15 minutes by motorbike. After short walking, you can dive into the cool water fall. This area is national park. So you can enjoy much nature.
At night, I walked to the downtown street in Khao Lak for dinner. The street has few restaurants and shops but I enjoyed quiet street.
Khao Lak town, not town but very small street, has no taxi service. So, if the hotel is near the street, it’s convenient. The location of Khaolak Laguna Resort is very good. Tsunami information center is near the town.
I was very tired 2-hour driving by motorbike, but I want to come back to the white sand beach.
マーニはカオラック・ラグーナ・リゾートにレンタルバイクで行ってきました。朝早くカタビーチのホテルを出発し、プーケットタウンに立ち寄り朝食。その後ひたすらバイクを飛ばして北上します。
ホテルに到着する直前にイサーン料理の「ムアンライ・レストラン」に立ち寄りコーヒーを飲みました。ここからの眺めが素晴らしく、カオラックの数々の入り江を見渡すことができます。
カオラック・ラグーナ・リゾート滞在中、バイクで15分ほどのサイルン滝（パックウィープ滝）に行きました。少し歩くだけで涼しげな滝に到着します。このあたりは国立公園なので自然がたっぷり残っているのです。
夜はカオラック唯一の町、町というかレストラン数軒だけの鄙びた通りまで夕食を食べに歩いて出かけました。近くには津波センターもあります。
２時間のバイク移動はとても疲れたけど、またあの白砂のビーチに行きたいです。
