スミニャックの中心にあるスミニャック・スクウェア - Seminyak Square - Famous shopping complex in Seminyak area

ザ・スラ・バンガローの目の前にスミニャック・スクウェアというショッピング・アーケードがあります。

レストラン、服飾店等、複数のテナントが入っており、特にカフェが多いので、スミニャックエリアで買い物をしている途中、休憩するのに便利です。

カフェの中に、ブラック・キャニオン・コーヒーというタイ資本の喫茶店が入っていて、バンコクと同じ味を楽しめます。

スミニャックスクウェアでは週末、地元外国人によるバザーが定期的に行われます。出店が出るので、普段と違った雰囲気が楽しめます。

Seminyak Square is located in front of The Sura Bungalows.

This big shopping arcade offers some restaurants, clothes shop and so on. When you are tired from shopping in this area, you can take a rest at some cafes.

BLACK CANYON COFFEE, one of the cafes, comes from Thailand. You can enjoy the same taste of Bangkok's coffee.

Sometimes, the arcade holds a charity bazaar at the weekend. You can enjoy some food stalls and others.

Local supermarket is available at Bali Collection, Nusa Dua - 地元のスーパーマーケットも入っているヌサドゥアのバリコレクション

Nusa Dua area is special resort area. So commercial facility is "collected" only at Bali Collection, a big shopping mall.

While you may feel boring only inside your hotel, walking in the mall is a fun. It's OK that you just watch many restaurants, shops, money changer, department store, foot massage shop and so on.

Bali Collection provides a local supermarket. It's a no problem that you buy and bring drinks, beers, snacks and tobacco to your guest room. But you remember that eating such snacks on the hotel's poolside is a bad manner.

You can use free shuttle bus between Bali Collection and each hotels in Nusa Dua and Benoa. If your hotel is close to the mall, you can walk by yourself, like The Laguna A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa. But at night, it's safer that you use a car because you cannot ask for help in the accident. Nobody is walking on the road inside the area at night.

ヌサドゥア・エリアは、特別なリゾート地区のため、商業施設が一箇所に集められています。それが「バリコレクション」です。

ずっとホテルの中でこもっていると飽きるので、広いモール内の飲食店、ショップ、両替所、デパート、フットマッサージ屋等をぶらついてみるのは楽しい息抜きになります。

バリコレクションの中にスーパーマーケットがあり、そこでジュースやビール、たばこ等を買い、ホテルに持ち込むことは問題ありません。でも、ホテルのプールサイドでスーパーで買ってきたお菓子等を、思いっきり広げて食べるのは、リゾートスタイルとしてはマナー違反ですね。

ヌサドゥア、ベノア地区の各ホテルからバリコレクション行きの無料のシャトルバスが運行されています。「ザ・ラグーナ」のように近くのホテルであれば歩いて行くこともできますが、ヌサドゥアエリアは、夜になると人の往来が少なくなるので、できれば車で移動したほうが安全でしょう。

New and Old in Canggu - チャングーのニューとオールド

Batu Bolong Temple is a very old Balinese temple in Canggu. This is one of famous temples in Bali. In special ceremony, many Balinese people gather for praying.

チャングーに、バトゥ・ボロン寺院という古い寺院があります。この寺院はバリでも有名なお寺の一つで、バリのセレモニーの時期になると、たくさんのバリ人が集まります。

一方、バトゥ・ボロンからほんの３分の距離に、デウスというバイク＆サーフィンショップがあります。コーヒーや買い物をしにたくさんの人が集まります。
