スクンビットの老舗韓国焼き肉店「ドゥレー」：Korean BBQ at Sukhumvit Plaza

バンコクで、昼間、観光で体力を消耗し、明日に備え元気を付けたいという時、おすすめなのが韓国料理です。和食だと物足りない、イタリアンだとこってりすぎると、タイ料理とも異なるキムチ辛さは、意外に暑いバンコクに合います。

さてバンコクのスクンビット通りは、地図の上側が奇数ソイ、下側が偶数ソイになっていますが、ソイ15にあるS15スクンビット・ホテルの向かい側、ソイ12に韓国料理店が集まったスクンビット・プラザというビルがあります。

中でもドゥレーは古くから営業してる安心できる老舗店です。メニューは全て写真と値段付き、付け合わせは無料。値段も手頃でお腹いっぱい焼き肉を食べることができます。

焼き肉を食べた後は、同ビル正面にあるパブでなぜかジェラートを売ってるので口直しをすると良いですよ。

ソイ17に陸橋があるので、そこからタイムズスクウェアビルに渡ることができます。

When you are tired in hot Bangkok, Korean food is recommend. Japanese food is too healthy, Italian is too heavy. But Kimchi, Korean pickle, is a different kind of energy herb from Thai spice, so it's nice for your travelling power.

By they way, Sukhumvit Road is divided by odd-numbered Soi above and even-numbered Soi below. Sukhumvit Plaza on Soi 12 is located at the opposite side of Soi 15 where S15 Sukhumvit Hotel is located. This old shopping plaza offers many Korean food restaurants.

Doo Rae is one of the oldest restaurants in this building. The menu shows food pictures and the prices. Price is affordable, and garnish is free of charge. You are satisfied to eat BBQ.

To freshen your mouth after BBQ, I recommend that you try gelato at the front shop of this building.

You can go from Soi 17 by the bridge crossing Sukhumvit Road, to Soi 12 through Times Square Building.

S15隣の中華の店：Chinese food next to S15

バンコクのオシャレ・ビジネスホテル、S15スクンビット・ホテルの隣に、今にもつぶれそうな中華系の店があります。

昼時になると、地元タイ人でにぎわっているので試しに食べてみることにしました。とりあえず、隣のテーブルの人が食べてるのと同じものを注文。言葉が通じない海外では、店内を見回して他のお客さんが食べてるものの中から食べたいものを見つけるのが、もっとも確かです。

こってりした鶏の煮物は美味しく値段も激安。店内暑くて長居はできないけど、近代的なホテルに泊まりながら、そのすぐ隣で、こんなローカル気分が味わえるのがバンコクの魅力ですね。

This super local restaurant is next to S15 Sukhumvit Hotel, a beautiful business hotel, on Soi 15, Sukhumvit Road. The appearance looks crumbling, but many Thai people have a lunch here, so I tried to eat.

I cannot read Thai menus, so I pointed my finger at the other customers’ food which I wanted to eat. At the unfamiliar restaurant in foreign countries, looking around other tables is the best way to eat a good food.

Thick chicken food is nice. The price is very cheap. No air conditioner allowed me to stay for longer, but I can enjoy the local atmosphere while staying at modern hotel.

アソークの本格手打ち蕎麦の店 - 透青：Tousei (透青) - Authentic Japanese Soba noodle restaurant

シーナカリンのイサーン料理レストラン「ラン・ガイ・バーン・ヤン・カオ・スアン・クワン（グリルチキンの店）」 - Lan Gai Baan Yang Kao Suan Kwang for Grilled Chiken at Srinakarin

シーナカリンにある有名なイサーン料理の店です。デュシット・プリンセス・シーナカリン・バンコクから車で７分ほどの場所にあります。

おすすめはガイ・ヤーン（グリルチキン）。店のすぐ裏で、ガスではなく火鉢を使って焼いているので、肉が固くなくジューシー。他にもたくさんのタイ料理があります。メニューは写真付きで、英語も併記されているので指さしでオーケー。なんといっても料金が地元価格なのがうれしいです。

アマチュアミュージシャンによるライブ演奏も行われるなど、店内いたってのんびりとした雰囲気。おすすめは屋外席。夜になるとたくさんの地元タイ人が、星空のもとタイ料理をほおばっています。

空港からバンコク市内に向かう途中、渋滞に巻き込まれたら、ここで夕食を食べてみてはどうでしょう。人生、時には寄り道も必要です。

This is a famous Thai Isaan restaurant in Srinakarin. It takes only 7 minutes from Dusit Princess Srinakarin Bangkok by car.

The most popular menu is Gai Yang, Thai grilled chicken. They don't use gas for cooking. Chickens are grilled by a charcoal brazier. So it's not hard, and juicy.

You can also order many Thai foods with English-written menu with pictures. The local price is welcomed.

The relaxing restaurant sometimes offers a live performance by the amateur musician. I recommend you the outside table. At night, many Thai people enjoy delicious foods under the stars.

On the way from the airport to the center of the city, if you encounter traffic jam, you can enjoy spicy Thai foods at this restaurant for your break. Enjoy your long life !

ヨック・ヨー・レストランは、ディナークルーズ船を運行している会社の一つですが、船の他にシーフードレストランを陸地で営業しています。

バンコク市内からは、リバー・シティーからボートで渡ります。電話すると無料で船を出してくれます。ミレニアム・ヒルトン・バンコク（Millennium Hilton Bangkok）の隣にあるので、ヒルトンに宿泊している人なら、歩いて行くことができます。
